I have 29 years experience in the NSW Police Force and currently at the rank of Chief Inspector.
I have spent the past nine years as the Public Order Manager at State Planning Unit, Major Events, where I have been responsible for the public order management / crowd management planning for all major events in NSW. This included events such as Australia Day, New Years Eve, Bathurst, Mardi Gras, World rally Championships, G20 Finance Ministers, major protests such as reclaim Australia and high level dignitary visits such as US Vice President, Israeli President, Chines President, Prince Charles visit to name a few.
During the planning of these events have worked closely with Government, key agencies and land holders along with Military and International partners on security planning and crowd management planning representing the NSW Police Force.
I coordinated the deployment of NSW Police Force resources to support the response to interstate and overseas emergencies, including New Zealand for Earthquake, Queensland for flood sand Victoria for Bushfires and I led the Public Order contingent of 250 out of the total 500 sent to Queensland for the
security operation for G20. I Have significant experience in emergency management. Previously I was the NSW Police Liaison Officer at Sydney International Airport where I developed the Disaster Victim Registration procedures.
