Colleen Harris

Inspector, Metropolitan Operations and Strategic Initiatives

Colleen is currently an Assistant State Inspector with SafeWork NSW where she works collaboratively with Industry to improve the workplace health and safety conditions for workers in a wide range of Industries in Metropolitan Sydney.

Prior to working as an Inspector with Colleen was responsible for leading and managing a team of 12 specialist inspectors with technical expertise in the areas of the working environment, health, mental health and return to work.

For 16 years Colleen was the Director of ErgoFit a WHS Consultancy company with a proven track record in assisting large and small organisations to evaluate, design and implement WHS management systems and risk management solutions.

Colleen is an Occupational Therapist my training and has a Master in Adult Education and has lectured in the School Health Sciences at Sydney University.
