Heather Clarke  

Manager, Event Operations & Planning at the Sydney Opera House

Heather is currently the  Manager, Event Operations & Planning at the Sydney Opera House. A role she has filled for the  past 9 years and is responsible for the overall planning, managing and delivery of all events at The Sydney Opera House. During this time she has also acted in the Director, Performing Arts role on several occasions. Prior to this she worked as a  Production Manager at the Opera House for 2 years. Before joining the Opera House she worked as a freelance Production Manager for City Of Sydney, Belvoir Theatre Company, Performing Lines, Sydney Festival and AUSDANCE.

She was production Manager for Meryl Tankard Australia Dance Theatre for 3 years during which time they did extensive International touring. She was Stage Manager on the Sydney Olympics Opening & Closing Ceremonies and the Millennium New Year’s Celebrations on Sydney Harbour.
