Matt Spiller

Matthew specialises in Event Operations, Logistics and event-related risk, health and safety having worked on major, mass participation events globally since 2006.

Matthew began his career in events managing the Spectator Experience for the Australian Red Bull Air Race World Championships prior to working internationally across event venues in North and South America and Europe, working collaboratively with local event organisers to deliver this exciting events spectator experience.

Following this, Matt worked on the Rugby World Cup 2011 working for the host organiser and with the commercial partners, Matthew used his commercial and operational experience to deliver catering services for workforce, spectators, corporate clients and VIPs at seven-match day venues across the tournament. Since 2012 Matthew has been part of the FFX Events team contributing operationally and logistically across the Fairfax Events portfolio. Matthew was part of the leadership team that delivered the Australian Events Industry prize winning 2016 Sports Event Award of the year, The Sun-Herald City2Surf presented by Westpac.
